Our Story

Darius Vanblount was born in Jacksonville, Florida on July 6th, 1994 to Timothy Brown Sr. and Joanne "JOJO" Vanblount. After losing his dad on Christmas' Eve at the age of 10 and his mother to cancer 8 days before his 21st birthday, he knew the odds were stacked against him. The grief from his mothers' death was finally enough pain to turn into passion, which inspired him to pursue his dreams of establishing a global brand in memory of her.

At the age of 26, Darius decided to leave everything he had ever known behind and head west to Los Angeles in hopes of accomplishing a feat no one from his hometown had ever achieved. Vanblount® was created as not only a lifelong devotion to his mother, but also for the underdogs who face life's toughest battles daily. We fight even when it seems the entire world is against us. Why? Because we know deep down that despite the circumstances, we're going to overcome whatever comes our way!
